Sixty chess players from Grand Knights Chess Academy competed at this event, with 23 students winning medals and securing multiple team trophies for their schools. The championship consisted of seven rounds over three days, utilizing a time control of 90 minutes with a 10-second delay.

Our supportive community of players and families played a vital role in this success, with over 98% of our students demonstrating an improved performance rating. Between rounds, students reviewed their games with Coach Sloan and Coach Michael, fostering a positive learning environment and making this a truly memorable event.

We are already looking forward to the next nationals. Our Winter Nationals Training Program, led by GM Serper, Coach Sloan, and Coach Michael, begins the last week of January. Find more information here:
